DQ® Blizzard® Treat Sales to Bring Healing and Happiness to Local Pediatric Patients
Funds raised on Miracle Treat Day help children at Asante – a Children’s Miracle Network hospital

MEDFORD, Ore. (July 22, 2019) Whether children suffer from common childhood afflictions like asthma and broken bones or are fighting bigger challenges like birth defects or cancer, thousands of families visit Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center every year for treatment – one of only 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals in the U.S.

On Miracle Treat Day, Thursday, July 25, participating DQ® locations in Southern Oregon will come together to raise funds for local pediatric patients. DQ will donate $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat purchase to Asante Children’s Miracle Network.

“Our community has the unique opportunity to help local children overcome health challenges and heal,” says Katie Daniels, Children’s Miracle Network Program Director, Asante Foundation. “Every dollar raised on Miracle Treat Day stays right here in our region, benefiting Asante’s littlest patients and their families.”

To help celebrate Miracle Treat Day, fans are encouraged to use #MiracleTreatDay on social media and invite others to join them in visiting a participating DQ location on Thursday, July 25. Miracle Treat Day generated nearly $20,000 for the Asante Children’s Miracle Network program in 2018.

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center has served as the Children’s Miracle Network hospital for Southern Oregon and Northern California since 1988. For more information about Asante Children’s Miracle Network, click here.
