Established in 1973, the Foundation is committed to transforming the quality and scope of health care in Southern Oregon.

Asante Foundation works in partnership with the community to meet the growing needs of the region. Through fundraising, community engagement and events, we raise awareness, and most importantly, funds.

Community involvement is crucial, not only for enhancing local health care, but also for creating a critical health infrastructure to support a healthy, thriving community for years to come.

From the first campaign to build Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital in the 1950s, the tradition of philanthropy began. Governed by a local board of directors composed of volunteers and physicians, all decisions were and continue to be made by people who live and work in the community.

Successful fundraising has enabled Asante to continue to meet the health care needs of our growing region. Thanks to the ongoing generosity of donors and fundraising programs, Asante’s tradition of philanthropy continues.

As the largest health care provider in nine counties, Asante provides comprehensive medical care to 600,000 people throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California.

Our facilities include Asante Ashland Community Hospital, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Asante Physician Partners and additional health care partnerships throughout the region.
