About Asante Foundation

As the philanthropic arm of Asante, Asante Foundation partners with the community to enhance health care in our region.

Established in 1973, the Foundation is committed to transforming the quality and scope of health care in Southern Oregon.

Asante Foundation works in partnership with the community to meet the growing needs of the region. Through fundraising, community engagement and events, we raise awareness, and most importantly, funds.

Community involvement is crucial, not only for enhancing local health care, but also for creating a critical health infrastructure to support a healthy, thriving community for years to come.

So why philanthropy? Because philanthropy provides an opportunity to offer the latest in technology, innovations in treatment, services and expert medical staff. Philanthropy is vital in supporting the demands of excellence in health care today and will become even more vital in supporting future capital projects for the health care of tomorrow.

Our commitment at Asante Foundation is to grow with the region. Our commitment is for excellence in comprehensive health care, to bringing the latest innovations in treatment and technology to Southern Oregon. Our commitment is to the health and well-being of our community. Our commitment is to you.

A Tradition of Philanthropy

From the first campaign to build Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital in the 1950s, the tradition of philanthropy began. Governed by a local board of directors composed of volunteers and physicians, all decisions were and continue to be made by people who live and work in the community.

Successful fundraising has enabled Asante to continue to meet the health care needs of our growing region. Thanks to the ongoing generosity of donors and fundraising programs, Asante’s tradition of philanthropy continues.
