Just a little more than a month ago, we came together to celebrate the completion of the new pavilion at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. In the short time since that celebration, these cutting-edge facilities have already made a profound impact on our community – all thanks to community support!

Reflecting on the past few weeks, numerous memorable “firsts” have marked significant milestones in a new era of care:

  • On February 5, we witnessed the inaugural surgery take place in the new, advanced surgical platform.
  • The next day, February 6, the first successful robotic surgery took place – demonstrating Asante’s commitment to innovation.
  • Also on February 6, we welcomed the first baby to be born in the Binette Family Birth Center. Little “Link” will be remembered as the first of countless new lives to begin in the Olsrud Family Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
  • Then, on February 8, Dr. Dauterman performed the first Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) in a new, state-of-the-art Hybrid OR, showcasing the advanced medical techniques available in our community.

These achievements wouldn’t have been possible without your unwavering support and dedication to our community’s health and well-being. As we continue this journey together, let’s celebrate these milestones and look forward to even more remarkable moments ahead. Thank you to our community once again for being an integral part of our shared success!

A look back
