The fourth annual Asante Walk for Hope returns Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at the Mary and Dick Heimann Cancer Center in Medford. From 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., our community will come together to honor cancer survivors, caregivers and loved ones—while raising funds for local cancer care. Year after year, the Rogue Credit Union Kids’ Zone anchors the celebration with games, hands-on activities and prizes for families before and after the 1.5-mile walk around Rogue Regional Medical Center’s campus.

As Presenting Sponsor of Walk for Hope this year, Rogue Credit Union’s continued support is part of a broader, long-standing commitment to children’s health at Asante through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN). That commitment shows up at the bedside: Child Life activities that ease fear, comfort items and play supplies, and specialized pediatric services continue to grow thanks to Children’s Miracle Network support. Because of partners like Rogue Credit Union, kids who need cancer treatment can receive world-class care close to home at The Olsrud Family Women’s and Children’s Hospital at Rogue Regional—near school, friends and family.

This year, Rogue Credit Union is expanding its impact in meaningful ways. Their signature Give+Save campaign runs from September 22 – October 25, invites members and the community to give while they save. These donations directly benefit local kids at Asante. In April, RCU also rallies support during Change a Child’s Life Week, another CMN effort. And as of Aug. 1, RCU introduced a simple, everyday give-back: $1 from every non-member ATM transaction fee at Rogue ATMs is now directed to CMN and shared among regional partners, including Asante. Beyond fundraising, team members volunteer at Walk for Hope each year—showing up in person to cheer on participants, staff the Kids’ Zone and celebrate the community they serve.

“Walk for Hope is a highlight of the year for our volunteers and a wonderful extension of Rogue Credit Union’s dedication and commitment to supporting children’s health care at Asante. Being there for our members and our community means everything to us and getting to celebrate the courage and resilience of these participants is truly impressive. This is a special event.”
