Join the second annual Walk for Hope!

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, Walk for Hope returns with a very special celebration at the Mary and Dick Heimann Cancer Center! This local event celebrates cancer survivors, caregivers and honors those who are no longer with us. All are welcome, participation is free and volunteers are needed! Sign up to take part using the registration form below. Participants who register by September 22 will receive a free T-shirt.

100% of all proceeds, including individual gifts and event sponsorships, directly benefit the lives of local cancer patients and families. You may choose your specific area of impact when you make a donation through the registration form below.

Schedule of events:

10 a.m. – A community celebration of life for Dick Heimann
11 a.m. – Walk for Hope registration begins
Noon – Walk for Hope begins! A 1.5-mile trek around the Asante campus.
12:30-2:30 p.m. – Finish line celebration with live music from The Brothers Reed, food trucks and activities for the whole family.

A special invitation

The Heimann family welcomes all who wish to attend to join in a celebration of life for Dick Heimann, which will take place before the Walk for Hope. Gather as a community to honor the life and legacy of this leader, philanthropist and friend. Program begins at 10 a.m., followed by a reception. Please RSVP using the registration form below.
