Rogue Credit Union’s Story

In 1956, two years before the original Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital was built on this site, Rogue Credit Union began as a 10-educator, member-owner co-operative.

Generosity Partners | Rogue Credit Union

From humble beginnings in a garage in Medford, Rogue Credit Union has grown, side by side with Asante. Today our organizations lead our region, providing for the vibrant physical and financial well-being of the communities we serve.

For more than 30 years, Rogue Credit Union has partnered with Asante to invest in children’s health. As a Children’s Miracle Network partner, through its Credit Unions for Kids program, Rogue Credit Union has given generously to support important advances in children’s health over the years. This support is made possible by donations from members, through popular fundraising campaigns like “Give+Save” which typically runs annually.

The power of community, coming together to do something great, is a common thread for Rogue Credit Union and Asante. In 2023, Rogue Credit Union made an extraordinary commitment toward the construction of the Pediatrics Unit, by dedicating its support for the next decade. With this gift, they ensure that children and families can receive expert care, close to home, in a state-of-the art facility.

“We extend our thanks to our loyal members, whose unwavering support makes this partnership possible. Rogue Credit Union was founded by a group of educators who believed in the power of people helping people, and this donation is made in the same spirit. As a community, we’re stronger together.”

Matt Stephenson, President/CEO

“There is incredible power in doing good. The golden rule should be more than a rule – it should be a purpose.”
