For families traveling far from home for care, the Family House offers more than a place to stay—it provides comfort, stability and a sense of home during an uncertain time.
It’s a place where families can rest, stay close to their loved ones and focus on what matters most.
Looking Ahead
The need for the Family House continues to grow, and limited space means some families are still turned away. Plans are underway to expand from seven to fourteen rooms, so more families can stay close to care when they need it most.
Walk for Hope helps make that possible. Every dollar raised helps open the door for more families who need support.

How can I create a team page?
Step 1 – Login or sign up via GiveButter to create your profile by clicking “+Fundraise” button. Follow the prompts to create an account.
Step 2 – Join a team or form your own! Your support raises critical funds to help expand local services for people with cancer.
Step 3 – Gather your friends, family and community and send them the link to join.
Step 4 – Track your progress and celebrate your support on social media!

Do I need to handle any funds myself?
No – by using Givebutter’s free fundraising platform through Asante Foundation, your donations will be transferred directly to the Asante Foundation. No need to worry about handling cash or checks!
What if someone wants to make a large donation without the processing fees?

What payment methods are accepted for donations?
