As you may have seen in Mail Tribune, Asante is embarking on a journey to elevate health care services through a $1 billion investment over 10 years. One of Asante’s most valued sources of funding for this expansion comes from community members.

An article from 1956 regarding the original campaign to build Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital.

To support the Master Facility Plan, Asante Foundation is undertaking its largest campaign ever, AsanteForward, with a goal to raise at least $50 million to help transform the quality and breadth of health care in our region. At the core of AsanteForward are five specific initiatives including:

  • Behavioral health
  • A new regional cancer center
  • Expanded emergency services
  • A new patient pavilion to house several areas of care:
    • Women’s and children’s health
    • Cardiac care
    • Critical care
    • Advanced surgical services

Every important advancement in health care at Asante has happened because of our community. Local people, businesses and organizations that support AsanteForward have an immediate impact on the well-being of patients, transforming the health care experience for Southern Oregon—today and generations to come. To date, the community has generated $10.7 million toward this campaign.

Our community’s tradition of philanthropy reaches back to the 1950s, when a group of leaders raised $2 million to build the original Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital. This historic moment changed the health care landscape for our region. More than 60 years later, you, the community, continue to elevate health care for generations to come. Join us as we move AsanteForward.
