Asante Three Rivers Medical Center Emergency Department

The challenge:

The original building, which opened in 2001, was built to serve 27,000 patients annually. Today, the department sees more than 41,000 patients per year, a nearly 50 percent increase — making the need to expand and modernize clear and urgent.

The solution:

The solution is a renovation and expansion project that will increase the number of patient beds and rooms, creating a greatly improved patient experience by offering faster and more personalized service. The state-of-the-art design and layout increases patient rooms from 19 to 30. More space and staff will improve operational efficiency and reduce wait times and delays for in-patient treatment. This much-needed project will have an immediate and positive impact on emergency care in our community.
